Background Information:

Attached is the administration's recommended revision to AR 5144.11 Due Process.  This AR is revised to update board policy as it pertains to school safety and security (especially regarding behavior threat assessment) and as recommended by our attorney at Jermain, Dunnagan and Owens (JDO). In addition, we have updated the timelines for hearing responses and appeals.

AR 5144.11 Due Process is presented for discussion by the full board.  It is also on the evening's business meeting agenda for a first reading and action.
