Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Policy BP 5123 addresses the criteria and process for retention/acceleration of any student. For the 2020-2021 school year 30 students were considered for possible retention and one student was considered for possible acceleration under the above referenced policy. From 11 different schools, eight students were retained and one student was accelerated.
