    This information serves as the year end update for the Board regarding the District’s progress in using Tableau visualization software. Additionally, the District will be utilizing Tableau to create public data dashboards to show progress on the District Key Performance Indicators.

    The software has been used to create several visualizations. At this time, the visualizations have not been made available to the general public. Great care is being taken to ensure that the visualization does not misrepresent information and that all access to data meets the district’s strict adherence to all policies surrounding student data.

    Projects continue to be developed and public access visualizations will be available soon.

    Next steps:

    • Continue affirmation of data being represented.
    • Continue to ensure that no students can be identified from any visualization.
    • Prepare for an October Board work session showcasing select KPI data dashboards.

    Prepare for the late Fall public release of available KPI data dashboards.
