At the 08-04-2025 policy committee meeting an update to the 4000 series policy structure was proposed.

Rather than listing these policies separately (e.g., BP 4100, BP 4200, BP 4300), administration proposed consolidating policies that apply to all personnel into a single listing using a combined numbering format (e.g., BP 4100/4200/4300 Title), replacing the current practice of referencing the 4100 series in the 4200 and 4300 series with notations such as “See BP 4100 Title”. 

This format maintains applicability across all employee groups under a unified entry and also aligns with the AASB model policy manual, which uses a combined code (e.g., BP 4144/4244/4344 Complaints) when a policy applies to certificated, classified, and supervisory/management staff.
