Philosophy and Comprehensive Plans

The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Board of Education believes that public education is the foundation of our communities, states and country.  We also believe that a child s education is the number one priority in our communities and the State of Alaska.  We believe this priority and responsibility is shared among the school, the family and the communities in which we serve.

The Board will review and adopt comprehensive plans every five years that includes updates to the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District mission, vision and guiding principles.  These plans will become an exhibit to accompany this policy.
