E 9110(b)Student Representative on KPBSD Board of Education Information Committee

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Student will be a junior or senior in good standing in any public high school in the KPBSD.
2. Student will be elected by their fellow student council members at the annual KPBSD District Wide Student Council Meeting.
3. Student will attend all Board Information Committee meetings and aim to attend relevant work sessions.
4. Student should give feedback to committee members about legislation that impacts students.
5. Student will plan to help provide information to legislature in Juneau, both in person and by teleconference.
6. Student should have a long term interest in serving the public as an elected official.
7. Student should plan to use this opportunity as a way to develop leadership skills.
8. Student will communicate with other student council members in the District to provide information and seek feedback from other students, in particular on relevant legislation.
