QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Student will be a junior or senior in good standing from a small school in the KPBSD: Cooper Landing, Hope, K-Selo, Nanwalek, Nikolaevsk, Ninilchik, Port Graham, Razdolna, Susan B. English, Tebughna and Voznesenka. 
  2. Student will be elected by their fellow student council members at the annual KPBSD District Wide Student Council Meeting.
  3. Student will attend all Board Small School Committee meetings and aim to attend relevant work sessions.
  4. Student should give feedback to committee members about issues that impact small schools.
  5. Student should have a long term interest in serving the public as an elected official.
  6. Student should plan to use this opportunity as a way to develop leadership skills.
  7. Student will communicate with other student council members in the District to provide information and seek feedback from other students, in particular on issues that pertain to small schools.
