    Background Information:

    The Wellness Committee would like to present the following revisions to BP and AR 5040 Student Nutrition and Physical Activity.  These revisions reflect new federal guidelines and the Alaska Gold Standard School Wellness Policy.

    The BP and AR were reviewed by the Policy Review Committee on Nov. 5, 2018 and by the full board during a work session earlier in the day.  They are both presented here for a first reading.

    Administration recommends that E 5040 Student Nutrition and Physical Activity be retired as the current information is included in the AR and the exhibit is no longer needed.
