    Background Information:

    The Math Curriculum Committee is creating curriculum maps using a backwards design process.  Curriculum maps for each grade level and course includes units of instruction, priority and supporting standards, relevant mathematics practices, and academic vocabulary. The Math Curriculum Committee will present the final draft of the curriculum maps to the School Board in January 2019.

    After the School Board approves of the curriculum maps, the Math Curriculum Committee will identify core resources and materials that best support the implementation of the math curriculum, best instructional practices and our personalized learning initiative. All math courses will be available to teachers in Canvas by fall, 2019.
