        Move to amend to delete on page 13 “Middle school co-curricular activities shall be restricted to travel on the Kenai Peninsula only.” and add “Middle school teams shall be allowed to travel off the Kenai Peninsula for competition purposes one (1) time per season if a waiver is requested through the KPSAA Executive Secretary and approved by the superintendent.”

        KPSAA is seeking approval from the School Board on these recommended handbook changes that the KPSAA Board has discussed during the 2017-2018 school year.  The final draft handbooks for the School Board to approve are attached.

        After discussion and input from the School Board at the May 7, 2018 Board of Education Work Session, it is recommended that the school board approve the previously submitted Handbook changes for the SY 2018-19.
