        Background Information:

        Attached is Kenai Peninsula Borough Ordinance 2018-21 (with amendment) providing for the submission of general obligation bonds, in the amount of $5,400,000, of the Kenai Peninsula Borough to pay the local required match portion of the costs of the Kachemak-Selo new K-12 school construction project. If approved by the Borough Assembly, this bond request will be on the October 2, 2018 ballot.

        Administration supports this ordinance and recommends that the Board also support it.  The Board's decision (approve or disapprove) will be added to page 2 of the ordinance.

        *This item was revised on June 1, 2018 to include two additional documents from the Kenai Peninsula Borough: K-Selo 02018-21 Amendment Memo REVISED and Supplemental Information REVISED.
