At a Board work session earlier today the new building administrator evaluation system and handbook was reviewed.  The District's Effective Leadership Committee spent the past year revising and developing this proposed system/handbook.

Administration recommends approval of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Effective Leadership Handbook.  Next steps after Board approval will be submission to the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (DEED) for state approval and formal professional development and training on the new system in August for our principals.
